We nailed it because of it being in the kitchen...Hi<br />We nailed it because of it being in the kitchen and on a very rough wall with years of layers of thick plaster issues. With it being in the kitchen and cooking etc we nailed it to really secure it. It is tiny finishing nails so it does not put big holes in the walls. Hope that helps.
