Some Early Easter Decor and Giveaway Winner

Hi Sweet Blogging Friends.

I am getting some Spring Decor going and also a little early Easter decor.

I decided to do a little Easter centerpiece on my kitchen island.

It is my sweet white bunny and his garden load of carrots.

I usually do not do a lot Easter decor more Spring but I wanted my bunny to have a special place on the kitchen island.

Here is Buddy enjoying the back of the new sectional.  He loves to watch out the window most of the day.

He is the neighborhood watch with letting me know every time someone is out front of the house.
Either the mailman Nick or peeps walking their dogs.  He lets everyone know he is in charge and watching everything that goes on in our neighborhood!

I am happy to announce the winner of the Devotions from the Front Porch here today.
The winner is bj from bj's Sweet Nothings.  BJ please contact me with your address and I will be sending you this beautiful copy.
I want to share some of the other devotion books in this series.  Some of you may find them matching your everyday lives.

If any of you like any of these you can find them on Amazon.

They are also carried at books stores like Barnes and Noble.

Enjoy this week.
We might hit 68 on Thursday!!!!!
Oh how nice that will feel.
One day of beauty and warmth after a long winter.
Bad news is they are saying it is going to dip back down into the 30's again after Thursday.
Mother Nature is teasing us with what is to come!
This little affair she is having with Old Man Winter needs to stop!
He needs to leave and Spring needs to come in to stay.

Have a great week.
Hugs,
Kris

  3. Congrats to bj....couldn't be a nicer winner anywhere.
I LOVE your cute little bunny, Kris. I don't think I will haul out much for Easter this year either...maybe...we'll see.
LOL @ Buddy. That "watcher" aspect is one thing he and Peggy Sue have in common....must be part of their blood line. I think Ryan's BO would lick someone to death. xo Diana

  8. Ah your bunny looks very at home and also very cute in his new home for Easter! I have to say that Buddy also looks seriously cute and is a perfect match with your decor, bless him!
Congratulations bj - enjoy that beautiful book!
Here in the UK our weather is also changing back and forth - we currently have weather warnings in place as we are experiencing continuous driving rain and high winds. Too wet today, even for the ducks - who usually come by where we are staying at the moment. Take care of that foot Kris, hugs Gilly x

  9. Congratulations to sweet bj, love her. Buddy is like Reeses barking to let you know what's going on.

We had a nice day day yesterday but back to clouds. We just can't get consistent sun. We have been in this weather pattern for a year no exaggeration.

    Mr. Bunny looks so cute.

  10. Buddy is so handsome! I'm surprised he hasn't let you know that Bunny is intruding on the kitchen counter, trying to oust him for first place in cuteness!

Congrats to BJ on the book of everyday devotion.

We had 70° on Sunday, 60° yesterday, and sunny two days in a row - unbelievable, right?? We're supposed to have 75° on Thursday, but at this point I'll take colder temps on the weekend as long as the rain holds off! I've been trying to get my kids to come take furniture since early February and the weather would not cooperate!

  12. The bunny is adorable. 68 deg. in march is definitely just a tease but one that will be very welcome! I saw Devotions at the Beach at Cracker Barrel yesterday. They have a display with beach like deco and included that book with it. Congratulations to BJ!

  13. Your bunny looks so sweet. Buddy looks sweet also, what a good guard dog!

Congrats to BJ for being your winner of that beautiful devotional.

Predicted high for today 84, and the a.c. has been on for a few days now. Heat and humidity are becoming the norm during the day. Although I was just out doing a walk around and it was just beautiful out. Scents filling the air as well as birdsong.

Have a great day and week ~ FlowerLady

  22. I am crossing my fingers along with you that our weather turns and STAYS spring-like soon! Your bunny is precious. I have too much Easter decor, I really should go through it but hey, when is that going to happen lol? Family will be visiting next week so my butt's been kicked into high gear for cleaning and decorating. Think I'll be sticking with spring decor this year to keep it simple. Your buddy is a real cutie, he always makes me smile. xo Kathleen

  24. Congratulations to BJ. I am intrigued with the "Devotions in the Garden" title. I am ever so anxious to be able to get out in my back yard for some gardening therapy. Initially there will be some weeding, but then on to the pretties. Just not warm enough to be out much yet. Here in N. Cali, we are hardly breaking the 60 degree barrier many days and oh so much rain. Not complaining. Enjoy your warmth on Thursday. I love how you watch dog matches your décor so well. So cute! Looking forward to more of you spring time décor change ups. So much Easter decorating going on in blog land...even with it still many weeks away. I think everyone is anxious for spring this year! Hope your foot is a whole lot better.

  28. Love your fluffy bunny and his carrots! So refreshing and cheerful as winter finally comes to an end! I don't care much for your weather turning cold again, especially after the tease of a beautiful day! So not cool, Mother Nature! Buddy is so cute watching over the neighborhood! Glad he and you are all enjoying the new sectional. It looks beautiful! Enjoy your nice weather Thursday! Hugs!

  35. Your new sofa is perfect for Buddy to perch in comfort on! He would not like the hard top on mine at all. I remember how our dachshund Penelope would always choose the other sofa that was soft instead of this one. I just want so badly to pick Buddy up and look into those sweet eyes!
