Baby It's Cold Outside!

Hope all of you enjoyed being with family and friends for Christmas.

Now we are onto a new year and new beginnings and lots of wonderful inspiration.

At Junk Chic Cottage we will be looking at this outside for a few more months.

So with snow on the ground and very cold temps ahead I am hoping to work on some transformations on the inside of Junk Chic Cottage.

This is where just a few short months ago a lovely blooming garden stood.  So until our weather changes and we move on into Spring and Summer I am going to work on the inside for these long winter months.

Hope you will join me in the coming months to see new transformations inside.  My motto for this year will be doing wonderful transformations and spending very little money to do so.  Using some paint and what you already have to make wonderful transformations.

Susan and I will be starting up our Saturday Spotlight in January and we have a wonderful line up of bloggers for you to get to know on a more personal level.  Looking forward to more time with each and everyone of you.

Happy New Year Everyone.
Kris

  2. I always love see any of your transformations.

After a wonderful Christmas - 82 degrees on the beach- I will be "playing house" today. That is a positive way to say that I have a lot of cleaning to do. I must find places for the fun "toys" I got for Christmas.

Thanks for the sweet comments on the cottage....I forgot to share the new outside lights that HUBBY picked out....so I went back and added to the post. They weren't my first choice but I think they are going to look good overall! You've got me anxious on seeing your transformations/ideas! Blessings for a wonderful New Year 2014~~~~~Roxie

  15. How's my gorgeous Junkin Mrs. after the Holiday Season? Stressed out?

OMG! snow? Lucky we are! We still have +6 to 10 degress celsius here in Sweden and around EU. Awesomeness! though Christmas without snow in these countries is unusual.

Hope you had a great Christmas & a Bountiful & Peaceful NY to come.

    Best of Health & Blessings,

  16. Looking forward to your indoor transformations! The snow was nice for Christmas but once January rolls around, I'll be anxious for it to go bye-bye! :) I think I might actually tackle the upstairs bathroom this year. It needs to be painted and freshened up. It's on my Project Procrastination list.

  19. Your view is lovely outside but I'm sure it gets old. We may only get one or two snow storms a year but it's enough. I can't wait to see your free transformations. Happy New Year.
