Cafe de Paris And Flower Market

I shopped this past week and found this great Paris de Cafe Sign for my kitchen.  Thank you Vintage Shop in Morris one of my fave shops to visit.  Never walk out of Cassie's great shop without something wonderful to take home.

This sweet sign is stenciled on an old chippy mirror and then it was framed in black.  It looked really sweet with the black frame but I had this really chippy vintage frame that I have wanted to put up somewhere and thought hmmmmm......

I think the vintage chippy frame gives this Cafe sign just a little more character than just the plain black frame.

This new Cafe de Paris just gives a little french flair to the farmhouse kitchen.

Flower Market Vignette:

I shopped the house to make up this little vignette by my window in the dining room.

I had everything.  The picket fence piece, the little french stool and the french garden flower gathering basket.
So got a little summer vignette going on by the window looking out to the back garden. Did it all for $0 dollars spent.

Thank you for your visit.
Kris

  4. Kris,
Yes, frame perfection! I love your new find, I especially love foxed mirror that's aged to resemble mercury glass and reflection is muted. We are trying to find someone to come install antiqued mirror that will add light but not too much reflection as a backsplash in our kitchen. Not being successful with finding someone :( Your summer flower vignette is adorable, your house always looks happy.

I just love all the things that you do and I don't think I've ever seen your total kitchen. So pretty and charming..Happy Week..Judy

  23. Oh, Kris...when I saw your comment today I realized it's been ages since I've been by. And I saw the title of your post and I thought, my gosh, she's in Paris and I didn't even know about it! lol!! Anyway, I love the sign! I've only been to Morris once for the French Hen event and only saw a bit of the town. I'd love to go back.

Your window vignette is so sweet! I LOVE that picket fence!! I always imagined I'd live in a house with one all around it. My tastes have changed...now I want black wrought iron and a big double gate at the bottom of a long drive!! Ha! This rain and gloom is making me daffy!! :)

    XO,
    Jane
