Spring Finally and New Chair Covers

Got my spring wreath and my summer yellow door ready now that Spring has sprung here in the Midwest.

Yeah seeing these pop up in the flower beds.

Even my little cherub seems happy to see some life coming back into the garden.
Oh how I cannot wait to plant my summer flower garden.

Now onto the post on my purchase of the slipcovers out at the At Home With White Show.

Remember them in this booth:

I could not bring home the chairs she had with the slipcovers since we were flying so I remembered I had two old parson chairs that were similar up in the attic.  So I was thrilled when I got these home and they fit on the chairs I already had.

Liz did the nicest job.  Very soft fabric and old vintage pieces of lace on the front of the chair for some bling.

The back of both chairs has a vintage lace pocket.  I am thinking about how cute I can dress those pockets up.

Other Chair at the end of the table in the dining room.

So now I have two new end chairs with the sweetest chair slipcovers.
Thanks for your visit and have a wonderful start to the new week ahead.
Kris

  2. It's amazing how different your gardens look even though you are only about 4 hours South of me. We are still so brown here and it is ugly looking in all mygarden beds yet.

Those slipcovers are GORGEOUS! I like the little extra touches she put on them-the lace and that pocket is the cutest idea I have seen for slipcovers. You can bet that will be copied over and over and over again now!

Have a great day, Kris.I am off to church with the three girls(gigglers) xo Diana

  11. The new slips are gorgeous, Kris! The chairs look good at the ends of your tables, too. That little bit of flirty fabric with the white wood looks so soft and romantic. The front door wreath is so pretty and I love that little cherub bird bath. I'm looking for something about that height for the front bed.
