Shopping Fun at Tattered Tiques

Good Sunday Morning.

I wanted to share a few pictures of my favorite shop Tattered Tiques that I stopped to shop at this week.  I just love going in to the shop when they are open and seeing what new treasures I may have to take home with me :)!  There is always something that has my name on it.

Tattered Tiques is a two room warehouse store.  This is the main room.  Doesn't this scream get in here!!! there is some really cool treasures!!!

I love this little sign they have!!!

This is two of the trio that own and operate Tattered Tiques.  Sisters Julie and Anne and their mom Nancy missing in action when I went there that morning run this wonderful place.  They are the sweetest owners of a shop you will ever meet.  They always find the coolest Junk and just make you feel like family.

Look at all these yummy old vintage signs.  I would need an addition put on my little house to bring any of these home.  Out of walls at Junk Chic Cottage.  Love red and white french sign.  Gorgeous.

In the other room I snapped these pictures.  Look at all those silver lovelies in the basket.

Clock collection anyone.  They have some super vintage clocks.  Love the white chippy one on the top of the cabinet.

Well just wanted to share a post of my favorite shop.  I  enjoy my visits there.  Now stay tuned I am hoping to have a new post up in the next few days with some new treasures I found for my guest bedroom.  It seems like my guest room is the never ending transformation of late.
Have a great Sunday everyone.
Kris

  1. One day, I am going to show up at your door in my Element with a trailer attached. We will head right over to Tattered Tiques and I will fill it up. I will bring a batch of the oatmeal cookies I have been making lately

  2. What a great little shop. It is clean and orderly and I like that. Sounds like there are good deals there, too.

Do you happen to know how much that wrought iron set is? My friends (that I have been helping) have one just like it and will be selling it. Just curious how much the set is worth....if you know...if not-no big deal! xo Diana

  6. Oh! Those globes way in the back of the first room! I've been looking for a globe for a long time and haven't found any that are 'junk chic' prices.

Loved reading about your Hawaiian vacation, Kris. We spent 3 weeks there for our 40th. I'd go back in a heartbeat :-)

  9. I love finding new antique shops, it's like finding buried treasure! I found three old clocks in the things my father in law left in the house and I love them, now I'm on the lookout for more to make a display.

  11. OMG - love the shop. I sure wished that I still worked and traveled back to Chicago. I would buy and then put it on the North American Van that brought back my trade show stuff from Chicago to CA. I did that quite a few times. See lots of things that I would have to have. Miss traveling there, but not the hard work.
Thanks so much for sharing with us.
Have a great week and looking forward to the seeing the guest bedroom.

  19. Beautiful store - I can see why you love going there. The first thing that caught my eye was the Cattle Feed pillow. And I had to pin the photo of all the signs. I've got some wood lying around and have been looking for sign inspiration!
