I just had a lovely evening out with a really great friend.  We got together to celebrate my up coming birthday next week.  We went to Cheesecake Factory and it was so yummy.  My friend Sandy wraps the best gifts her gifts are sometimes too pretty to want to open.  I took these pictures with my I phone so not the greatest but hopefully you can see the sweet wrapping.

Look at this cute basket.  It was stuffed with fun gardening things.  We both share a love of gardening so all the treats in here were great.

I know these pictures are terrible from my phone but believe me the packages were gorgeous.  I did not want to open them they were so pretty.  We had several people stop by our table and say how pretty they were.

I put the little garden basket full of goodies on my shelf under my chalk board.

Look at these cute little note cards that are shaped like garden tools.

Sandy got me a nice CD called Chamomile for relaxing.

Cute little nail grooming kit shaped like a watering can. Adorable.

Cute little chippy bird that holds a picture. My favorite farmhouse hand soap and the pretty sign on the basket. I loved all  the treats she had in this beautiful garden basket.
Sandy got me a beautiful sweater and a great necklace and a special new hose that shrinks up after you water with it.  I can't wait to try that out in the garden with all the watering I do.  It will be nice not to have to pull a lot of hose around the yard.

Well just thought I would share a little of my birthday evening with you.  It was a fun night out. Thank you Sandy for treating me to so many beautiful gifts.  Her gift of friendship is the best gift of all.  It was a great evening.

  7. Cheesecake Factory in the Hancock building was the very first restaurant I went to on my first visit to Chicago. What fun that was! Our friends are so special to us aren't they? I am having dinner with my oldest friend tonight. We have known each other since our children were tots. We don't get to see each other often but when we do it's like we just take up where we left off before. Good friends are like that aren't they? What sweet gifts you received Kris. That paper is so pretty! Have a fabulous weekend.

    1. Hi Lynn,
You gotta love Cheesecake. Yum!!!! We split a piece of the turtle carmel cheese cake OMG!!!! It was so rich and delicious. I have known Sandy over 25 years and she is a wonderful dear friend. It was fun to spend the evening catching up. We got to the restaurant at 4:30 and did not leave until 8:30 just talking and catching up and eating!!!!! It was really a nice evening. I just wish my i phone took better pictures in that lighting of the restaurant. It was fun.

  16. Happy Birthday Kris,
What better way to spend it with yummy ness at the Cheesecake Factory. Your gifts are just so beautiful and the presentation of them is better yet, just like the win from you, opening that box and seeing all the goodies was more than I could handle taking it all in at once, I had to go back again and again reminding myself of all it held, I even added a couple of pieces to it wrapped plastic spoons for that wish I had a spoon to eat this, and a cork screw for the ladies when they want to share a glass of wine curbside lol!
Well, you get the picture :)

Thank you for sharing your birthday and gifts, Happy Birthday month to you.
