More cute treasures today from More www.tatteredtiques.com/.  Love Love Love Tattered tiques.
New shelf/bar my hubby made for me for the kitchen.  Our counter tops in the kitchen are made from Ikea butcher block so he went and got some more of the butcher block and make this cool shelf for me and used table legs to anchor it.  I got these cool stools from Tattered Tiques and love the way this came out.

Ok still in Door Heaven!!!!! I took these old chippy doors I got at Junk Warehouse and gave them over to my husband and said "Can you make these into a headboard for me?" Please!!!!!! He took them hooked them together and used some old crown molding to finish them off at the top.  I painted them white and shabby them up with a mouse sander and then my husband hung them with a hanging bracket he put into the wall studs to hold the doors in place.  I love the way they came out.  What do you think?
I did love them just the way they were too but with my cream and white theme in my master bedroom I gave in and painted them white and shabbied them back up with the sander.  The pictures do not do them justice.  I am hoping to go camera shopping soon.

I need to find a crystal old knob for the middle door hoping to find one tomorrow a the flea market in Elkhorn Wisconsin.  I just love old doors.  They have such character.

I started  hanging some doors around my home.  I am having a love affair with doors of late.  I just love that these old doors have such history and have hung in many different homes throughout the years.  Ohhhhh the coming and goings through these doors.  The chair on the bottom I just had to post because someone threw this beauty out in the garbage!!!!!! Can you believe it I had to rescue it and find a place in my home for it.  It is chippy old and even folds!!!! Love it.

Ok I am in door heaven!!!!! My hubby and I went to Junk Warehouse today for their big sale and I found these fab doors that I am going to make into several things for my house.  Or I should say the hubby will make into things for the house!!!!! He doesn't usally mind because he usually gets a new tool out of it!!!!! I saw on one of the the old painted cottage Cindy's house which was May's cottage of the month took old doors like these and made them into closet doors.  That is whirling through my mind and maybe even making one or two into a nice chippy old headboard for our king size bed.  Oh the character and chippy history to these doors.  I love to put things in my house that have history and character.  Love Love Love these doors.  I will post when I make these into something for the house.  New project!!!!!!
I have to give a little piece of this cottage home to my husband that is a fire chief.  He gets very little fire decor in our cottage home so I had to do something in the garden near his shed to say hey there is a firefighter that lives here.  His office at work looks like a fire museum since that does not go with my cottage chic designed home.  His office is amazing I will have to post pictures soon.  Just don't know where all the stuff will go when he retires in 10 years!!!!! Yikes.
